There are two possibilities:
- Calculate the performance of a specific ballscrew with bearings, motor and transmission system.
- Calculate the most suitable actuator (ballscrew, motor, transmission system, ...) to obtain the desired speed, acceleration, and rigidity and fatigue life.
This service offers the possibility to compare several drive options during the design phase of the machine, enabling identification of the actuator item restricting the dynamic behaviour of the machine (ballscrew, motor, bearings, pulleys, ...)
One of the most innovative and important factors of the calculation is to obtain approximate values of the motor, i.e. the kv position gain and kp speed gain of closed control loops. These values are very important to get an idea of the dynamics of the machine.
In recent years, there are many customers who have relied on SHUTON to choose the best ballscrew in each case, which has allowed us to gain extensive experience that can help solve any problems that arise when designing drives of a machine tool.
