Double Cylindrical Nut

    Qualities
    Dimensions

Coam is the modified static load capacity in (N), calculated according to regulation DIN 69051-4 and ISO 3408-5

Cam is the dynamic load modified in (N), calculated according to regulation DIN 69051-4 and ISO 3408-5

Dw is the ball diameter in (mm)
Rb/t,pr is the stiffness of the balls contact zone in (N/um), for a preload of 10% of the dynamic load

Dpw is the pitch circle diameter of the screw in (mm)
Rnu is the stiffness of the whole mutter in (N/um), without taking into account the manufacturing tolerance

The nut of these high precision ballscrews are made up of two pieces separated by a washer, whose thikness determines the preload power.
In SHUTON the two pieces are fixed so that possible radial movements are eliminated and the alignment and concentriveness of both pieces improve.
