High Loads SHUTON COMPLEX

The development of more advanced machining processes makes machining with higher loads possible; these loads are transmitted to the ballscrews, which must withstand it with the same guarantees as ever.

To provide the most suitable solution to our customers, SHUTON has developed two new products that considerably increase the load capacity of the ballscrews.

Both options provide a solution to the requirements of highly accurate movements and high loads on plastic injection machines and presses, making the option to move with a ballscrew a far more cost-effective solution.

TD15: Special ball 15.875

With the new large ball of 15.875 mm, SHUTON meets the increasingly demanding needs for higher loads, without the need for ballscrews with a greater shaft diameter.

Dynamic load is improved by some 30-40% compared to the 12.7 ball, static load by some 30%, and rigidity by 8%, with the same nut length.

HL: Special design HighLoad

Static and dynamic loads of the ballscrew with a nominal diameter 100 with HIGH LOAD are greater than those of ballscrews with a nominal diameter 120, making this an attractive alternative. Besides, in addition to a greater load, their reduced dimension result in a lower inertia of the system, thus improving the performance of the servocontrol.

Higher loads translates into greater friction inside the nut, so that the rotation speed must be reduced to prevent that the generated temperature does not increase too much.
